MANITOBA AIRSHOW PERFORMERS
Canadian Forces Snowbirds
The Canadian Forces (CF) Snowbirds, 431 Air Demonstration Squadron are a Canadian icon flying the distinctive CT-114 Tutor in their 48th season. The aircraft flown by the CF Snowbirds are slightly modified from the training version. In addition to show features, the modified version has a more highly-tuned engine to enhance performance during low-level aerobatic flying.
The CF Snowbirds continue to inspire with thrilling aerobatic performances and breathtaking fly-bys over cities and towns across Canada and the United States. Their 2018 theme is "A Tradition of Military Aviation Excellence."
Serving as ambassadors of the CAF, the CF Snowbirds demonstrate the high level of skill, professionalism, teamwork, discipline and dedication inherent in the men and women of the CAF and they inspire the pursuit of excellence wherever they go in North America. VIEW WEBSITE
Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team, the SkyHawks
The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Parachute Team, the SkyHawks, is Canada's only military parachute demonstration team. For over 40 years, we have represented Canada and the Canadian Armed Forces to over 75 million spectators worldwide under our signature Canadian flag parachutes.
Bringing their parachutes in close proximity to build formations in the sky, the team puts on a spectacular show. Performing these aerobatic parachute formations requires a high level of skill and courage; and is known as Canopy Relative Work.
Supported by the Canadian Army, the SkyHawks are based out of Trenton, Ontario, at the Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre. There, they train alongside soldiers who help defend our territory and sovereignty through a wide variety of domestic and overseas missions.
It is with great pride that they continue to showcase the professionalism, dedication and team work it takes to be part of Canada's military.

Team Rocket
Team Rocket is a two-ship formation aerobatic performance featuring Eric Hansen in the F1 Rocket, and Ken Fowler in the Harmon Rocket II.
Eric pilots the F1 Rocket, which is a sleeker, modified version of the Harmon Rocket II. The F1 Rocket is a high-performance, kit-built airplane capable of climbing at 3,500 fpm.
Ken pilots a Harmon Rocket II, a highly modified RV-4. Power is from a Lycoming IO-540 engine, custom built by Progressive Air of Kamloops, British Columbia and produces 300 H.P. at 2800 RPM. The aircraft's empty weight is only 1146 lbs, which gives it excellent high-speed aerobatic performance and awesome vertical performance. Although not an unlimited aerobatic aircraft such as the Extra 300 or Pitts, this Harmon Rocket will outperform all such aircraft going vertical.
Ken and Eric have been performing together for six years. As a team, they are dynamic and fast; the only team of this aircraft type in the air show industry.VIEW WEBSITE
